Brighton Capoeira Filhos de Angola
Keeping the Angola vibe in Brighton

Brighton Capoeira Filhos de Angola

Welcome to the Brighton Capoeira Angola Group (Filhos de Angola)

Capoeira Angola is Roots Capoeira: a unique blend of music, game, art and culture. Capoeira Angola keeps the style, the music, the moves, the mandinga, all the elements of the original Capoeira as it has been played from the slavery days in Brazil to the present day.

Come and check out our classes.

There are courses for adults and children, and a course for complete beginners each term, but you are welcome to join our regular classes any time, even if you have never played before. Don’t worry, we’ll look after you!
